Description
Static Progressive Component is a splint line tension device that easily adjusts the tension of a hand splint. First the user will need to attach the component to the splint base. Thread the splint line through the component by running it through the hole in the rotating cylinder. Tie the line back onto itself. Leave adequate length of the splint line so the splint is easy to get into, but not too long that is takes too much time to attain tension in the line. Once the component is adhered to the splint, simply turn the component to adjust the tension in the splint. This component will help gain flexion and extension in the user’s thumb, finger, wrist, hand, or elbow. It provides direct and controlled static tension to the desired area by the use of a splint line. This component is sold as a set of 4 and the splint is sold separately.
