Our white polyethylene transfer boards come with 1 standard hand hole, however we do have two hand hole option available. Hand holes allow a patient to gain more leverage when transferring across the board. This puts less stress on their body and decreases the chance of injury. A transfer board makes switching between your bed, wheelchair, car, or into any seat easier. Transferring is typically a difficult task when you do not have the proper equipment. This transfer board will add convenience and independence to your daily routine. When transferring its important to keep your board as level as possible and make sure your wheelchair is locked into place. It is best to use short movements when transferring in order to prevent injury. The smooth surface of this board makes it ideal for bare skin transfers.
